Petroleum Wholesale L.P.  is a privately-owned motor fuel distribution headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas with a presence in nine states.  John Cook started the company as a two-station jobber ship in Ardmore, Oklahoma in 1971 and grew to more than 200 fee properties and 250 dealer accounts.

Four years ago, Petroleum Wholesale developed an innovative retail concept, Main Street Market, which in addition to fuel offers a full size discount grocery store, Ace or True Value Hardware, RV Park, Car Quest, a selection from 7 major fast food concepts in a twenty to forty thousand square feet retail building.

Our vision and plans going forward are to develop and open the larger box facilities while divesting of the smaller stores.

The company is a private supporter of many charitable and philanthropic causes but is most passionate about animal rescue and adoption. For over twenty years, Petroleum Wholesale has underwritten and provided 100% of the funding for a private animal rescue and adoption which rescues abandoned, abused, and neglected animals and finds homes for hundreds of rescued animals each year.
